Four days to reconnect: starting with yourself, carrying it into your life
Thursday to Sunday. Not a schedule to keep: a rhythm to fall into, each day opening a little wider than the last.
I
THURSDAY · YOURSELF
Arrive, and put it all down
The first evening asks nothing of you. Set down the bags, and everything you carried in them. A warm room, a slow meal, faces you haven't met yet but somehow already trust, and something in your shoulders remembering it's allowed to soften.
II
FRIDAY · THE PRESENT
Come back to your senses
A day that moves at the speed of your senses. You wake gently, wander the Condroz hills, make something with your hands, and taste a meal you helped bring to the table. By evening, the noise you arrived with has quietened, and you're simply here, awake to it.
III
SATURDAY · SOMETHING BIGGER
Go deep and let something go
The fullest day, and the deepest. You move, you create, you breathe, and somewhere in it, you touch something larger than yourself. When night falls under a full moon, you gather together to set down what you've carried too long, and, softly, let it go.
IV
SUNDAY · YOUR LIFE
Take it home with you
Slower now, softer, a little more yourself. You make one last thing to take home, gather in a circle to close what you opened, and turn back toward your life, carrying the quiet certainty that this pace was never a holiday from you.
It is you.
